Gildan 100% cotton unisex tee
Description
Fabric: 100 % cotton (for solid colors) — the white/solid-color variant is full cotton; some heather/special colors include small blends.
Weight & feel: For example, one style is 6 oz/yd² jersey knit with a smooth, tight knit surface which makes it feel robust yet comfortable.
Fit & construction: Unisex classic fit (so suitable for both men & women), with features such as ribbed collar, taped neck and shoulders (for durability), double-needle sleeves and hem.
Pre-shrunk / reduced shrinkage: The fabric is treated to minimise excessive shrink after washing.
Ideal for printing or customization: Because of the tight knit and durable cotton base, it’s popular for screen-printing, heat transfers, etc.
Fit & Use Notes
As a unisex tee, sizing may lean toward a “classic” cut rather than very fitted or very loose.
Because it’s heavier cotton (relative to very lightweight tees) it has more substance—may feel a bit “thicker.”
Pre-shrink helps but expect some minimal shrinkage depending on wash method.
Because it’s 100% (or near 100%) cotton, care instructions: wash cold or warm, avoid overly high heat drying to minimise shrink and preserve shape.
Colours: While solids are full cotton, note that some colours (especially heather, sport grey, “antique” colours) may include polyester blends. E.g., “Ash Grey is 99/1 cotton/polyester” for one variant.
